When I agreed to follow Gods lead and go on the World Race I never expected it to start so soon! I just thought oh I’ve got time to do this and that and so on. The reality of this whole thing is time was up when I signed the papers saying that I would do this.We might not be leaving the country until August, but my race started in October(2015)
The World Race is about so much more then going to other countries and sharing the incredible love of Christ. This journey has impact here at home. I’ve already had to step out of my comfort zone and ask people to help me, I’ve had to rely on God to provide the funds not only for the trip but for gear, school, flights, and daily living. The agreeing to go has opened doors for me to tell people about what God is doing in my life , and how even though He has called me to do this does not mean I’m perfect. I will be the first one to say that!
I fail day in and day out. But it’s okay because God forgives over and over again. Thank goodness
I feel as though the world race journey will last a life time. The things I’ve gone through or will go through will be apart of my life forever. They are preparing me for the future, I will use these stories to encourage other to show them that God can use anyone.
Stepping out on Faith is scary, but if you can put one foot in Front of the other and believe that Christ has you, Then you will have the opportunity to be unique and not just normal.
So heres to the first 5months of the race! Can’t wait to see what God does/brings in the next 16months.
