I made it!  I made it to Training Camp thanks to all my family, friends, and supporters! This has been a crazy enough journey just trying to get my first $5,000 to get to Training Camp, I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like the next 10 days at training camp! I want everybody to know that I did not accomplish this on my own, it was 200% God. And no that’s not a typo, it was 200% God! I didn’t realize how much I would have to rely on him to get to this journey. Some of my close family and friends have been asking me if it’s worth it. If it’s worth all this stress to go on an 11 month tourist missions trip around the world?

I didn’t know how to answer that question. So I chose silence and an occasional “Oh I hope so…” Until just now I didn’t know how to answer that question. My answer now is if this is what it takes to get me out of my chair and into the world spreading the gospel, then yes! It’s totally worth it! I would rather spend the rest of my life completely trusting God for something than relying on my own ability.

Another question I’ve been asked multiple times about this journey is “What made you want to do this?” Well I have to blame my mom and dad for that. Last Christmas they got me an audio book, that’s right, I listen to audio books. It was called “Finding Your Voice” by Natalie Grant. Check it out!

This book inspired me to ask questions about myself that I never dared to before. This book was inspiring, kind of cheesy, but inspiring nonetheless. It lead me on an uphill spiral to dig deeper into my Christianity, to really find out what I believe and what my faith was based on. So there you go, it’s my parents fault.

I want to send out a great big thanks to everyone that has helped me with their time, prayers, or money. I wouldn’t have made it anywhere if it wasn’t for all you wonderful people!
