Hey, wonderful people!! I have a really great way for y’all to get involved with my ministry this month.
My team is working with Jeremiah’s Hope, an organization that provides resources to kids at risk. They have outreach programs, kids clubs, shelter homes, and kids camps. There have been many missionaries that have worked with us during our time here, but I want to emphasize Daniel and Janna Ross.
Daniel Ross is a hard worker. He built an awesome ropes course and rock climbing wall for Jeremiah’s Hope. He continues to belay kids every time there is a camp. He spent over a year renovating a house in the hopes that it would turn into a foster home for the ministry. In addition to that, he’s made us some DELICIOUS pancakes and french toast.
Janna Ross is super diligent. She’s spent a lot of time pouring into the girls of this community. She’s run numerous Bible studies and discipleship weekends for them. She has made friends with many of them and she’s now at a place where she is able to pour into their lives in a very personal way. She’s intentional with the village girls, but also with people that don’t get noticed as often. She’s very hospitable and she loves to invite the foster parents over for dinner and board games.
Together, they are one of the most selfless, loving, caring couples that I know. They love to love on people. They work hard and they work with a Kingdom mindset. They’ve been in Ukraine for almost 6 years and they’ve made a huge impact here.
Early in the morning of October 26, I was notified that Daniel and Janna’s house had caught fire. They spent that morning watching their house burn down. Thankfully, neither of them were physically harmed. They were able to salvage some of their clothes and dishes, but the majority of their items were lost.
One big aspect of their ministry revolved around board games. They loved being able to invite foster parents over for fun nights of dinner and games. In doing this, Daniel and Janna were able to build relationships and encourage these foster parents in the Lord. Unfortunately, their whole board game collection was burned in the fire. In the efforts to help them rebuild, our team has put together an Amazon wish list of games that they enjoyed. These games would be a blessing to them, but also to their ministry.

There has been an awesome community that has surrounded Daniel and Janna with food, temporary housing, and prayers. They’re in good hands right now, but they’re already looking at rebuilding and wondering what that will look like for them. If you’re interested in supporting their efforts to rebuild, click on the PayPal link below. All of these donations will go towards Daniel and Janna’s house, in the hopes that it will one day be used to further the Kingdom in other ways.
Daniel and Janna are asking that people would keep them in their prayers during this season of life. There’s a lot of craziness right now and thing will continue to be scary and uncertain as they move forward. They really need prayers for peace and comfort for the future.
Daniel has repeatedly mentioned how loved he’s felt in the midst of this situation. The Lord’s has worked through so many people to bless them in just the ways that they need. I want to thank you all in advance for the ways that you choose to support them. Whether that means with board games, money or prayers, it’s all greatly appreciated!
