It’s the holiday season and I have the awesome opportunity to be celebrating it here in Chile. I don’t get to be with my family, but I get to celebrate with 7 beautiful teammates and my Chilean family. I get to truly invest in culture and
people without the distraction of money.
I didn’t know anything about any of these women before coming on the Race. I had seen pictures of a few of them, but they were all total strangers. In the span of less than 4 months, these girls have become family. I’ve learned SO much from all of them. Without a doubt, they’ve all left lasting impressions on my heart. So, this blog goes out to you, Team Priceless. Y’all bless my socks off.

From Romania to Ukraine, now on to Peru!
There’s lots to be learned as we travel around
We learn who we are and who has been crowned
Community is fun when you’re with people you love
And when we get sassy, we seek help from above
No team is the same, we all have our flaws
But look back on our time and you’ll see when you pause:
We’ve all grown so much! We’re new people now!
We’ve made ourselves family, I don’t even know how
So, thank you, Team Priceless, for all that you’ve done
You’ve taught me to laugh and to cry and have fun
This team has been AMAZING and just what I needed in every season of life. They’ve taught me to say the hard things, to make space for Jesus, and to minister to others well. They’ve shown me how to laugh well and to balance my emotions. They’ve called me higher and they’ve called me out. So now that you know about how they’ve impacted my life, let’s take some time to meet them!
Haley Walker: Haley’s laugh is the stinking funniest thing you’ll ever hear. It’s different every time, but it always hits every note in every octave. She knows how to have fun and how to go deep. She walks in more freedom than anyone I know and she’s completely, unashamedly herself. She serves behind the scenes without ever needing recognition for the things that she’s done. Also, I don’t think that I’ve ever met anyone who finds more joy in Snapchat filters.
Carly Owen: Carly is the definition of bold. She illuminates every room with her presence. She’s able to bring goodness to every situation because people value her and care about what she has to say. She brings joy and wisdom with her everywhere. She desires growth and knowledge and she chases after it without fear. She speaks with grace and elegance. Unless she’s talking about Texas, which is 75% of the time. Then she gets a little rowdy.
Tori Roman: Tori is strong, disciplined, and passionate. She cares deeply about everything that she does. She knows that she has the ability to make a change so she always goes for it full force. She doesn’t let worldly things get in the way of her goals. Tori speaks her mind knowing that she is worthy and she is worth it. She knows how to have fun and how to lighten the mood of an environment. She’s a person that exudes strength and confidence.
Christiana Cole: Christiana is the sweetest person that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She’s quieter than the rest, but that never stops her from being a powerful influence. She’s a humble servant and a hard worker. I get to see her light up when she’s working with children. She has something about her that makes others want to know who she is. She rests well, she ministers well, and she adventures well.
Kaitie Meeks: Kaitie is a very unique person and she has no problem being vocal about how well she was created. Kaitie knows who she is and she knows who’s she is. She’s very careful with her words and she knows how to speak life into other people. She values herself and the people around her. She never misses a moment that was meant to glorify God. She works hard and she loves well.
Bernadette Beacham: Bernadette knows how to have a good time. She’s loving, she’s caring and she’s fun. She knows how to love people in the ways that they need to be loved. She hears the Lord uniquely and she’s not afraid to share it. She doesn’t ever give up on things that she knows are worth it. Her heart is always, always in ministry mode. Whether it’s during planned ministry, with our team, or walking around the streets. She’s a confident leader and a good friend.
Kirsten Kuhn: Kirsten Kuhn is a great roommate. She’s fun, she’s deep, and she’s balanced. She knows how to make people feel heard and loved. She works hard and she plays even harder. She doesn’t only know about the Lord, but she knows the Lord personally. She knows how much wisdom she’s been given and she isn’t afraid to take the time and space to speak into people. On top of all these great qualities, she loves Justin Bieber more than anyone I know and her party ponytail can get anyone hyped.
These are the gorgeous girls that I get to do life with. These are the women of God that I get to spend the holidays with. These are my friends, but they’re also my family.
