We
cleaned carpets last Friday morning for Simona, a gypsy woman with five
children who is easily one of the most loving women I’ve ever met.
Not gonna lie, it was probably one of the most fun things I’ve done.
It involves a lot of splashing and soap and getting wet, and given
the fact that the weather has been about 300 times better here in
Viile Tecii than it ever was in Coleraine (there’s a reason it sounds
like “cold rain” when you say it), it was a blast. If all my
other life plans go awry, there’s always carpet cleaning.
