The pipes, the pipes are playing, and WE ARE IN IRELAND.
Our flight landed at 11:45 pm Eastern time, which meant it was 4:45 am in Dublin. Travel days are intense already. J Squad is landing right about now, 7:30 am Dublin time (2:30 am Eastern), and once they’re through customs and get their bags, we’re all heading to the campsite in Dublin where we’ll be in tents for the next few days doing some more training. My proudest achievement so far: introducing teammate Jenn Mitchell to Pushing Daisies. If I achieve nothing else today, it’s been a good day.
Also, after sitting next to a lovely elder Irish woman on the flight, I can imitate a brilliant Irish accent.
