It’s been a while since I’ve posted a financial update, and as of last night, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
I have $6485 in my account at this very moment. That means I’ve met my goal for June 1 almost 4 weeks ahead of schedule.
To me, this has been an amazing testimony of God’s faithfulness. Literally as soon as I stopped worrying about fundraising, and consciously left it to God, He turned right around and started working. You can assign it whatever explanation you like, but that’s the one I’ll be sticking with.
A huge thank you is owed to everyone who contributed, but we’re not there yet. Next goal/deadline is $8000 by July 1, which means I need $1515 to reach that goal, and $9515 total to cover the rest of the Race.
I’m pretty sure this guy expresses my sentiments in the best way ever. Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU. Keep my fundraising in your thoughts and prayers, since I’ve still got 60% of my funds to go. But know that you all are amazing and generally win at life.
