I am a photographer and artist, but at the core of that is conveying a message and storytelling. I desire to use my God-given gifts to further the Kingdom through the avenues of non-profits, missions, and humanitarian photography! I am passionate about merging the arts + culture + the gospel. Over the years I’ve used the mediums of film/digital photography, oil paintings, and mixed media to convey social justice issues and instill dignity to people groups all over the world.
Professional photographs and imagery are vital tools for fundraising, social media, website development, raising awareness, etc. The beauty of visual arts is that it transcends language and cultural barriers, speaking straight to the heart.
During our time in the beautiful Rwanda, Africa, we worked with an incredible organization called Hope on A Thousand Hills. Partnering with local people, they bring restoration and sustainable change through their four main platforms: Evangelism, Education, Nutrition, and Agriculture.
Some of my teammates and I used our gifts to create a whole new website for this ministry! Wanzie crafted the eloquent wording, Nat was the master web designer, and I took the photographs. It took several weeks to complete this project, but we are happy to finally share the link! Go check out how Hope on A thousand Hills is making an impact for the Kingdom:
