My two FAVORITE quotes just happen to be ones that I came up with a few years ago. The first is “Dream BIG and LIVE your dreams!” and the second is “The WORLD is my backyard!”

Ever since the first time I traveled to Switzerland and Austria with my mother at the age of ten I have been drawn to explore my “backyard”. In 2006, during the World Cup Soccer games held in Germany, I was in the surrounding areas on a mission trip where I got my first taste of foreign missions. 2007 I went to Switzerland again with my family to hike in the Alps. It never fails that whenever my mom is around she ends up finding a way to “encourage” me to sing. So long story short I sang in the high-end resort in Zermatt, Switzerland and later did some scat singing in a bar in Zurich. Both these times were such an encouragement, almost like God saying, “See, this is what I’ve created you to do. Now just be faithful to sing whenever you can and where ever you go and I will always touch people around you.” Singing for me has become a means for God to releasing His glory through me and I am SO thankful that He is using my voice to proclaim freedom to the captive, hope to the hopeless, and peace to the restless.

During the summer of 2008 I was nominated along with 50 other singer to go to Rome, Italy for 4 weeks to study opera. It was an amazing time of learning and growing and then we got to perform Suor Angelica by Puccini and The Magic Flute in two different churches in the heart of Rome! Summer 2009 I worked at Twin Lakes Camp in Mississippi as a kids counselor and on the horse staff. May 2010 I was blessed to have won a Mediterranean Cruise that docked at several of the places the Gospel was first preached. The memory I cherish the most was singing in the 2000+ year old amphitheater in Ephesus where the Apostle Paul preached. Oh it was amazing to see everyone there stop to listen as myself and another gentleman sang “Amazing Grace”!

The past few summer were mile markers in my life! They have taught me how to serve, to be served, to give, and never give up, never give up on my dreams, and to always give everything I have to be a light to those around me. My greatest passion is to inspire people to be all that they can be. I often overlook people faults simply because I try to see and bring out the best in them.

Music has always been one of my greatest passions. I sing and play piano along with attempting to pick up a few other instruments along the way. God has placed in my heart the desire to lead His children to “worship Him in spirit and in truth”. Whether it is with a guitar in the park, a djembe by the riverside, singing from the top of Pikes Peak, or a piano in my living room, I will ALWAYS have a song to sing!

As for activities, I love to be outside, play any kind of sports, ride horses and show jump, snowboard, hike, climb, dance, sing, read, laugh, love, and SOOO much more. One day I desire to start a training and equipping center for believers who want to be trained to go on the mission field, to be leader in the music industry with excellence using their God-given talent, have a venue for praise and worship, dance, and the arts. My philosophy is simple. As Christians, we question the direction of the media, music, literature, and arts that are essentially shaping our society. We also have the ability and responsibility to change their direction by raising up skilled leaders who will rise to the top of the Seven Mountains of Society and reclaim what was originally intended to be a blessing! So who’s with me? I’m ready!!!

At this point I cannot even begin to imagine how much I will grow, learn, and take part in by going on this world race. All I can say is that I am IN 100% and there’s no denial that God will be with us in his Power and Glory to transform the hearts and lives of the people we encounter! Thank you to my team for everything you are and for following God’s direction for your life. My we be a blessing to each other as this journey progresses! Much Love, Elizabeth Rose Williams
