Squad, we have a limited number of days left on the field before we head home. We’ve been encouraged to finish strong. Go all in, like we started. So we can start the next season how we ended this one. We got excited and said, “Of course! Let’s go!” But realistically, it’s hard to remember what it REALLY looks like. (I mean, it was 8 1/2 months ago. And we’ve all changed drastically.)

Last week, Terra Nova Childrens Home gained a few new (temporary) residents. Jim, who met Thomas and Amy a few years ago, came with his father-in-law Rod, and 2 of his sons, Will and Joey. They are here to help with some construction taking place. Namely, the new boys cottage. They helped fund it and it’s named after Rod’s late wife who loved orphans. We love having them here, getting to know them and their stories, and it’s so cool to see how excited they are about everything. Yesterday, HannahMarie said that she loves watching them because they are on the ‘missions trip high’. They only have 2 weeks here and they aren’t holding anything back. They are here, guns blazing and ready for action.

That’s how we should be. Jim and his family have given all of us an extra boost of energy to finish off strong. Our days are numbered here, and we should be going out with guns blazing (metaphorically speaking).

Let’s finish the last 2 weeks of the Race like we’re on a 2 week missions trip. No holding back.

I believe in us. I believe that when we don’t hold anything back, Kingdom will rain down in multitudes and drench everything we come in contact with.  Nothing will be left untouched by us. We have so much to give, and we shouldn’t allow people to be left out because we didn’t give our all.

Let’s light up Zambia and not leave until everything is set up in blazes of Holy light!
