Launch is over. After four days of extra training scenarios, saying goodbye to the parents (SHOUTOUT to Mary LeVasseur for being a lifesaver and helping me with papers!), and more sessions, launch is officially over.
I am sitting in the Houston Airport, after flying out of Atlanta, waiting for my next flight to Quito, Ecuador, where we will arrive around 11 pm.
We are on our way to another world. To another adventure. To another set of fears and challenges. I’ll admit, I have fears of my own. A fear that I will fail as a treasurer, a fear that myself/my team won’t be able to effectively serve our ministry host, a fear of our team falling apart and having negative repercussions come from it.
In the natural world, all these fears are realistic and valid. But, I am not living in the natural world. I am living in the Supernatural world. God is with me and my squad. In the supernatural world, these fears are NOT realistic and valid. They are ridiculous and frivolous. It is a daily choice to choose not to fear these things. These will be challenges. And there will be other challenges. But they will not be fears. To me, there are a number of song lines that speak into this.
“I am not longer a slave to fear; I am a child of God.”
“Oh, He is my song.”
“All His promises are Yes and Amen.”
Please pray for my team and squad as we enter Ecuador and serve in our different ministries this month. NOTE: This month we will trying to detox from social media and technology, so you probably won’t be hearing from me until November.
Here I am on the plane out of Atlanta with my squadmate, Katlyn, who had never flown before!

I also wanted to again, thank everyone who has contributed to getting me here! With that being said, I am still not fully funded! The final deadline for all the funds is in January, but that will come quick. I still need around $3,685 to be fully funded. If you feel led, please click on the ‘Donate’ button.
