As month 6 comes to a close I wanted to give you a quick picture of what the year has looked like so far! I have gotten 6 + new stamps on my passport, ridden more busses than I can count, walked miles on dusty roads, built lifelong friendships with my sQuadmates, experienced completely new cultures, and worked with more incredible ministries than I ever imagined I would come in contact with. I have seen the Lord do miraculous things all around me and in me. This is the craziest adventure.
INDIA
Location: Sielmat village, Churachandpur, Manipur, India with the Partnership Mission Society
Ministry included…
- Painting at a Christian school
- Working at a VBS for over 2,200 kids
- Construction and ministering at a local Christian-run hospital
- Clearing pathways up a mountain using handmade machetes
- Serving at local church services
- Working with a mobile medical team in unreached villages
- Creating 1-day VBS programs for children at local churches
- Construction of new church buildings
- Teaching English classes at the local seminary
NEPAL
Location: Lalitpur, Nepal with Agape Mission

- Street evangelism
- Soccer ministry with street children
- Praying over the city of Kathmandu and the strongholds there
- Serving and loving on our hosts and the women that they had taken in
- Preaching and singing while riding city buses
- Actively seeking hope and healing for people that we met on the streets
SOUTH AFRICA
Location: Pretoria, South Africa with BEAM Africa

- Teaching English and reading at local community lifeskill center
- Administrative work for BEAM Africa, who serve their community and the people of South Africa so well
- Serving food to children in the slum neighborhoods
- Teaching and loving on students in the Lifeskills program, where they gain valuable skills for the workplace and are introduced to the value and love found in Christ
- Chasing zebras. (Ok, maybe not “ministry”, but really fun.)
SWAZILAND
Location: Piggs Peak, Swaziland with El Shaddai Mission

- Leading daily chapel for the children and teens at El Shaddai
- Working in the garden, which provides food for the orphanage
- Visiting the “baby house” and getting to love on little ones
- Serving and doing life alongside of the women of Q sQuad
MOZAMBIQUE
During our debrief time between Swaziland and Mozambique, I was asked to consider serving my sQuad as a squad leader for the remainder of the race! I was thrilled when the Lord called me to accept this role and my month in Mozambique included time training with our alumni squad leaders. I got to spend some extra time leaning into what the Lord has for me in this new season of leadership. As part of our training we had an opportunity to visit several different ministries, so check them all out!

LATVIA
Location: Saldus, Latvia with St. Gregor’s Mission School
Ministry included…
- Visiting elderly care centers and sharing stories, cookies, and Jesus
- Teaching workshops on music, dance, art, and sports at a daily camp for 90 students
- Taking the students on a day trip hike
- Leading a weekly Bible study for teen girls
- Teaching weekly community dance classes
- Visiting a community day center and spending time with community kids
- Spending a weekend leading the “School of God’s Love”, which is kind of a like a VBS for teens in a small village outside of Saldus
Each of these moments and experiences has been uniquely appointed by God. Without the support that I have received from so many of you, this would not be possible. You were an intricate part of every picture on this page. I am so grateful that you have served the Lord through supporting me prayerfully and financially. As we reach July 1st, I will be hitting my final deadline. In order to be fully-funded and remain on the Race I need to raise $4,170. Of all the things that I am learning this year, the Lord’s daily provision for our needs is by far the most prominent. I have no doubt that this number is a drop in the bucket for Him, but He delights in inviting us to partner with Him in the work He is doing.
