This blog post is for my cousin! He is currently in Honduras on the Race!

Josh,

I am so thankful to have you in my life! Ever since we were little, I always gravitated towards you.  I didn't know what it was, all I knew is that you were smart and funny and kind.  You treated me like a younger cousin, but you always gave  me someone to look up to.  And you still do.  I know now that the magnetic pull that you had was your quiet strength.  Your faith in God and your caring heart are traits that anyone can plainly see.  And I thank you for leading by example.

I am also SOOO thankful that you told me about the World Race!  I remember hearing you talk about it and immediately signing up for information.  God used you to show me His plans for me these next 18 or so months. Although I wish that we could have been out there at the same time, I know that we both are going to be out in the field when God needs us to be.

Josh, remember while you are out on this race that you have a whole support team back home cheering you on.  We know that you are a rock, but be willing to be stretched.  I can't wait to see you again when I get back from my race, but in the mean time, know that I and a whole host of people are praying for you everyday!

Until we see each other again,
Elizabeth
