Hello
Friends and Family!!!
It has been a while since I’ve last sent out a mass update
letter on the progress of the World Mission Race and a lot has happened since
that time.
I just arrived back to Texas
from a two week training camp in Georgia. (Now, I have been on some mission trips and camps before while growing
up but never something like what I experienced in Georgia!) This camp was like a physical and
spiritual ‘boot-camp’ for missionaries.
Totally awesome! Some of the
spiritual lessons we learned were to release our past hurts, failures, and
emotional bondages that were chained to us or that we were simply clinging on
to. We discovered how to surrender our
expectations of others, God, and ourselves. Plus, our eyes were open to the reality that walking and talking in the
Spirit was true reality for our everyday living. We grew such an endless hungry for the
presents of the Lord and experienced Him deeper every day while there. It was so amazing how, while my squad of 48,
were in unity and seeking the Lord through prayer, singing, and worship, the
Lord would seize that moment and make Himself known amongst us. Some of us had visions, some had prophesies,
some spoke in tongues for their first time, some experienced the freedom of
being free from their past, and much more…
The camp coordinators incorporated many real-life situations
that we may face while on the field into our daily exercises. Things such as the cultural foods, cultural
behaviors and respects, social classes between the wealthy and poverty, the
underground church, and more…
One of the main keys that I picked up was that walking with God,
hearing His voice, and trusting Him is everyday reality. And it has been awesome living in that mind
set since camp. I feel more confident
than before and more eager and ready for this mission.
1 (ONLY ONE MONTH AWAY). I already have
an assigned team with six awesome teammates: Jory, Jordan, Tim, Bekah, Sage,
and Lindsey. Please keep them in your
prayers also when praying for me and this mission. We are a team united as warriors for
Christ!!

team launches out October 1
(but I must have at least $8,000 in the AIM account
to go)
- Just $3,261 is needed to allow me to go in
October
- If 300 people gave just $11 then I would be able go in October
- If 800 people gave just $11 then the total $13,800 would be compete
