How can I repay you?
The truth is, I can’t.
Because I don’t know who you are.
It bothered me a little bit at first..
I want to know the faces of the people that are sending me out.
I want to be able to say your name in a prayer of thanks for you, and pray that God would bless you 10 times what you’ve given to me.
But the truth is, I can’t.
Because I don’t know who you are.
How many people like you are in this world?
Anonymously, you walk around doing good, giving hope to people in a hopeless world.
You bless the woman on the street by chasing away the bad guy, and when she turns around to thank you she
can’t, because you’re gone, and she doesn’t know who you are.
God’s world is a beautiful place with you in it.
You don’t seek attention, or publicly cry out “Look at me! Look at how good I am!”
You’re the angel God sends in a difficult time.
And I don’t know who you are.
But the truth is, God does.
And that’s all that really matters.
So I will say that prayer of thanks for my anonymous donor.
You selflessly make it happen, and you please God in doing it.
And because of you, my dream is one step closer to becoming a reality.
So for all you’ve already done and continue to do, thank you.
