I had to google what an “about me” page looks like so here’s this.. (goal: be compelling)

-lets just get this part out of the way:

I am 18 years old. I have lived in Birmingham, Alabama my entire life. I have attended Briarwood Christian School since kindergarten and I am now a senior (whoop whoop). I have two beautiful and loving parents and a younger, stunning and intelligent, sister. Animals are definitely a part of the family too and I have 6 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse, and 1 cuteness Everdeen (a precious winter white hamster). Classic right?

Here is where things get outside of the basic suburban box…

If you asked me a year ago what I wanted to do with the next year of my life I would have told you my bulletproof plan that included me attending Auburn University and studying to be a wildlife biologist. I was accepted and ready to get that degree. BUT. In my heart something was stirring. All of the circumstances I had been through in life came to a head. I knew that I had to do missions. I thought that maybe I could get to that later in life but there was this unexplainable urgency. I realized that Christ needed now. My heart was so pained by heavy world issues that it became a desire that could not be met at Auburn. I had to be serving people in the heart of these issues. So here I am. I love people and will fight for them with all that I have.

“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.”
