The captivating power of broken English. While crammed in with 30+ backpackers and a handful of locals, a kind Romanian woman shared of her travels and family through broken English. Justus and I had the opportunity to pray over her just before we got off at the station.

This is the side of the train car that delivered me from Bucharest to Draganesti. Notice the light shining on her smile and waving hand through a foggy train window. Prayer connects people in beautiful ways such as this.
This is Melanie. She is truly a woman of God. I got to capture this moment where she was spending time with her Heavenly Father on the balcony of our room. Her love for God overflows and inspires.
Our ministry host took us to Greece for a few days. People in Greece do life wearing just about anything or just about nothing. Like this old dude fishing in his knickers because why not?

After spontaneous children’s ministry one evening I turned around just in time to capture these beautiful faces seeing us off! I couldn’t wait to be back.

My best friend. My travel partner. My bunk buddy. As we soaked up the beauty of God’s creation Jenna Rose looked at me and asked, “Has your world gotten bigger yet?”
It sure has Jen. I love and miss you.
This is Veronica and Claire walking from ministry site to ministry site. Draganesti had lovely sidewalks that led us to such beautiful people.
This little girl was as shy as could be when I first approached her. After sitting with her for a bit her big green eyes began to look up at me and I saw her smile more and more. Next thing we knew we were having push-up competitions, foot races, and sharing secrets. There is no fear in love.
John Mark, Sara Mac, me, and Justus. They are incredible. We got to work as a team doing street evangelism, home visits, and just about everything in between. They are each so spirit led with a big heart for bringing hope to everyone around them. I have gotten the privilege to witness how their prayers and encouragement touch people’s lives. They are INCREDIBLE.

On a train again. This time headed OUT of Draganesti. I cannot believe month 1 is over. I will never forget this town and the people I have grown to love so much in it. It is so hard for me to say goodbye and believe that what I did was enough. The Lord is teaching me to trust in the great work that HE is doing. That what I do is always enough because He is filling the cracks.
Next stop, Ternopil, Ukraine
