Hi! Thank you so much for watching my Nicaragua and Costa Rica video. This, again, was just a quick highlight reel/update for all my supporters for the World Race. During Month Two I was located in Granada, Nicaragua and Jacó, Costa Rica. This month I was exposed to a variety of different ministries such as serving at the nursing home, hospital, dump, sports ministry, and manual labor in Nicaragua and primarily renovations around the property seen by painting and manual labor and nannying for local missionaries in Costa Rica. While we worked really hard in these two locations, we also were able to have some once in a life time adventures! In Nicaragua, I swam in Laguna de Apoyo which is a natural lake inside a volcano crater, as well as, sledding down an active volcano while is bound to erupt within the next year. In Costa Rica, I was given the opportunity to learn how to surf in one of the best places in the world to do so and zip-line through the Costa Rican rainforest. I learned how to not only live with the team of 5 other girls but these countries live with the whole squad (23 other people). I also learned what good rest looks like on the Sabbath and how to initiate that into my life once I return to the states. I have realized that God truly has called me to this journey and that has been confirmed through so many occasions. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
