Here’s a quick highlight reel/update for all my supporters for the World Race. During Month One I was located in Urraco Pueblo, Honduras. As you could see from the video earlier there were lots of dance parties, games, and children. This was during the feeding program that we helped with during the month. In addition, we were asked to participate in house visits, watch baptisms, share our testimonies during church services and so much more. While we did a lot of amazing things throughout the race, I also faced some challenges such as a leaky roof, killing rats, burning trash everyday, and seeing poverty and brokenness face on. What I learned most from this month was what community looked like in a church. I learned that I came here to serve but in reality, the community here served me more than I could have ever imagined. This has taught me how to serve intentionally for the rest of the race. I thank God for this opportunity everyday and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now. thank you for your continued love and support. I can’t wait to keep you all updated on my journey!
**Side Note: I am not confident in my editing, formatting, and all that creative stuff so have some grace on my first one 🙂. I hope to do this for each month and learn more about videography and remembering to put my phone horizontal instead of vertical when taking videos (whoops, beginners mistake!). But anyways, HONDURAS.
