3 flights, 12 hour layover and one bus ride later and I finally made it to India. God has been so gracious with our travels. Because of the hurricane our flight was cancelled but we were able to get another one the next day. India has been so incredible for the past 2 days I’ve been here. We are currently staying at the Adventures base in Hyderabad but we will begin ministry in a few days.
Being a women I was very nervous coming in to a country that puts such a high regard for men and not for women. I was worried that my story would not be received well, however, that was such a lie from the devil. Everyone has been very receptive of us and it is incredible to see when I smile or talk to a native women the glow they get on their face that someone values them. I am so excited to see how God will use our team to bless anyone we come in contact with.
God has been revealing so many things to me. One of them being His plan and His timing. At times I will feel discouraged because I get sick or because I miss my family but He consistently reminds me of His constant love for me. It has been such a blessing to live in a community of believers who encourage and lift each other up.
I would ask you to join our team in prayer as we are adjusting to life away from home. Also to pray for team health, we have had some long travel days and different food that most of us have never had before. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
