Dear family and friends,

I hope this letter finds you well! If you’re reading this, you have been an integral part of my life and I am so grateful for you. I’m writing to share an exciting opportunity that I will be participating in this coming September. Growing up, I felt stuck in school, until recently. I knew I was being called away from school for a gap year, I just wasn’t sure when or where. As time passed and I continued living my routinized life, God started calling me toward missions. My passion for people and cultures has continuously grown, and the chance of a lifetime has been presented to me. I am happy to announce that in September 2017, I will be embarking on a journey with Adventures In Missions on the World Race Gap Year!

The World Race Gap Year is a 9 month, christian mission trip. I will be living in 3 different continents, 5 different countries, for a month and a half each. I will be gone from September 2017 to May of 2018, living in Swaziland, Lesotho, India, Nepal and Nicaragua. This program is not just a mission trip, but a way of experiencing the world and cultures apart from my own. It is a course of discipleship and discovering the true calling on my life. During those 9 months I will be on an adventure unlike any other, with my life condensed down to what I am able to fit into fifty pound backpack.

I would like to invite you to be a part of my adventure, I can’t do this without you! First and foremost, I need your prayers, love, and support. Prayer is so important to me during this time. Secondly, In order for me to be able to travel the world on this program, I will need to raise  $14,900 by December. $10,000 of that must be raised by this September. This money will cover all of my expenses on the field during the 9 months that I will be gone. Would you carefully and prayerfully consider supporting me financially for this trip? It would be such a privilege to have you on my team for this exciting opportunity.

I am ready to embark on this journey and take on any challenge thrown my way. So, between now and my launch date in September, I will be doing fundraisers, selling bracelets, T-shirts and more!
