Ladies and gentlemen. I am pleased to introduce the last (but of course not the least) man who has led our team toward oneness with the Father. Although he is not technically part of Team Petros, we consider him to be. HERE IS
Philip Wison.
Philip is 21 and from Elgin, Texas. His favorite way to express himself is through anything to do with cooking, writing, drawing, singing, or playing the piano. Whenever you’re around Philip, EXPECT a laugh. He abides in the Father, and the Father abides in him. Whatever he does, he does out of a place of wholeness, creating room for every word and every action to be authentic and genuine.
Philip radiates Jesus. He leads and teaches just like him. His heart is filled with Love, and you can tell by the way he supernaturally loves others. Philip is devoted to the teachings of Jesus, fills his life with prayer and communion, and his heart is consistently worshipping Yahweh.
Philip is a brilliant storyteller, and usually leaves you filled with some sort of spiritual fruit. It has been an honor (I can speak for my whole team with confidence) to serve and live alongside of him for the past 4 months. Philip, we love you. We are so excited to be led into even deeper intimacy with God through you.
What do you uniquely bring to the team?
Having had a long history with missions and the World Race, I believe that I bring a level of experience and wisdom to this squad that I lead. The Lord has blessed me by being able to see His greatness time and time again, and my dependence on him has led to such sweet, deep intimacy. He has given me an ear to hear His voice, and eyes to see His perspective. It gives me joy to worship Him by edifying others and bringing His insight to the church. Pray for me as I continue to lead others as I follow Christ.
Thank you so much for reading. Philip’s blog is on the left side of my blog homepage and linked here. He tells the story of what God is doing in the world really well!
It’s been a joy to write about these brothers of mine and grow in intimacy with them over the past 4 months. I hope you have the privilege of meeting these men at some time in your life. For the people who do know them, don’t take them for granted. Encourage them, pray for them, and soak up every moment you can. They are absolutely worth it.
Please pray for us as we launch into the international mission field on Thursday! We would love prayer for smooth travel, negative covid tests, and protection against evil. Anywhere else the Holy Spirit leads you, pray for that as well. We are so excited, and I can not wait to share what the Lord does with you all! All glory to God forever & ever.
Love you!
