Hey!

Just a pre-requisite to the introduction of this lovely brother of mine:

I’ve been in Louisiana for about a week now partnering with Samaritan’s Purse in their hurricane relief ministry! Another hurricane came through (known as Hurricane Delta) and C squad was called to evacuate until the storm passes. I’ve been in Dallas, Texas for a day and a half now having an amazing sabbath, and we stay until either tomorrow or the next day depending on the pertinence of hurricane Delta. After the storm passes, we have been given the chance to go back for another week of partnership in DeQuincy! Our entire squad is so excited. We have been seeing the Lord move in gentle, unexpected ways. I’ll tell you about it sometime.

So, without even further, further adieu, I am very excited to introduce the third member of team Ecclesia, my brother,

Reed Barrett.

Reed is 18 and from Huntersville, North Carolina.

Reed is a man of gentle humility. When he walks into a room, he creates an atmosphere of invitation and kindness. Reed listens intentionally, and allows others the space to process and think without the pressure of expectations or requirement. Reed knows his own heart very well, and translates what is in it with authenticity. He creates in a unique way, and never casts anyone out in his own process. Reed is a man who uses his gifts effectively in benefitting the people he is surrounded with, and seeks to make others feel significant and valued.

Reed’s perspective is to be revered. He desires none of his teaching & wisdom to come from a place of selfish gain, and only leads people to the Father in how he loves our team.

What do you, in your own words, uniquely bring to this team?

“Aight, I think the Lord has allowed me to bring the gift of music to the team, but I think he waited a long time to reveal to me that I was gifted in this area. Which is so dope, because from my perspective as I’m discovering a gift God has given me I am also discovering the fights of my brothers. So it’s like I’m growing into this gift with my whole team which is really special.

What is your favorite form of expression?

My favorite way to express myself is a fresh haircut. I’ve had a topknot, flow, man bun, mullet, etc.
