Hello again!
Today’s introduction is one of a man whose beard is so burly — not anymore, as he shaved it just a few days ago –, whose smirk is so frustrating (in a weirdly good way), and whose dear love is Revelation itself. Ladies and gents, boys and girls, adults and children, men and women, babies and infants, I am pleased to introduce the man himself,
Nathan Chandler.
Nathan is a joy to be around. He welcomes always people into his space, no matter where he is at. Whether that be making coffee before the sun wakes up, destroying his squadmates at Catan, or watching the Vols get destroyed by the Gators this Saturday at 3:30 pm, you’re invited (I wrote this last week, so if you’re confused I’m sorry!).
Nathan has an adoration for the man of Jesus like I have never seen before. Every single word in Scripture that he speaks, or the ones that speak about him, he soaks up with all of his might. The urgency in which he walks is so beautiful because every interaction that he can have is about his Father and how much He loves his kids. He is one of the fearless leaders of our team (now known as team Petros, by the way!), and is reliable beyond a doubt.
Nathan has led our team from the bottom up. He has been down in the dirt with us from carrying 400-pound tires on our man hike to wrecking trees and tarping roofs in Louisiana. He has also been up high when we are feeling so excited about life and looking forward to whatever the Lord has waiting. Not once does he discount the ways other people feel, and is always a source of encouragement and love no matter the circumstance. He pushes people up from underneath and is an amazing example of what it means to walk in humility. You should get to know Nathan if you have the chance.
I ‘freakin’ love you, bro.
