Yo again!
I’m here to introduce the second member within team Ecclesia, but if you have not had the chance to read the first blog, go meet my teammate Alex!
So, without even further ado, I am pleased to introduce the man, the myth, and the legend,
Josten Stanley.
Josten is 19, from Sesser, Illinois.
Josten is a man of kindness and courage. You know, how in the live-action Cinderella, Ella’s mother tells her to have courage and be kind? Yeah. Josten took her up on that. He walks in humility and gentleness and gives off a welcoming atmosphere. If hospitality could be defined by a person, it is Josten Stanley. A couple of weeks ago the men of Gap C woke up early on Sunday morning to make the women of Gap C some pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Without even being asked, Josten busted out his little mini-stove thingy and made any person who wanted it some freshly brewed beans. He is selfless in his talents, already teaching me so much about what it practically looks like to offer the gifts God has given us back to the Father in using his gifts for the benefit of the people Papa loves so much.
Josten observes not only carefully, but caringly. Out of a heart of love for the men of Team Ecclesia, he calls us higher in truth so that we can be re-aligned with our Father’s love, learning to walk in it always.
What do you, in your own words, uniquely bring to this team?
“I think just because of how I was raised I bring knowledge of the Holy Spirit and the power of prayer.”
What is your favorite form of expression?
“I like to express my feelings to God with either a hot shower or a car ride down backroads.”
Thanks for reading. The link to Josten’s blog is on the left side of my homepage. Go check it out!
