Just a little under a month ago, I was caught in the middle of a lightning storm while I was reading a book outside. Toward the middle of it, as the rain was really starting to smack the earth with everything it had, I started to get a wee bit scared. Reminded how small I was and how much the lightning did not care about what it was going to hit, I decided to sprint across a field to the closest building. By the time I got there, I was quite wet and cold. But, I had this feeling in my heart to create something, so I pulled out my notebook and a poem came out. I’m just going to type it out here, and I really hope you find something through it <3.

Amidst the humming of rain,
Aided by the harmony of
Cracking lightning and
Rolling thunder,
My heart has finally begun
To understand
The unrelenting melody
Of Love.
