A few weeks ago, my squad decided to do worship in the city center together. We all walked out together and started singing and worshiping. We soon started to draw a crowd and as people gathered, Luke, one of the guys from team Kingdom Bringers, stood up on a bench with a lady that he met and told the crowd about Jesus and why we were here. It was really cool to see the people that we met there having an actual interest in what we were doing and being able to share Jesus with them.
Worshiping in a public square with a bunch of people staring at me would have terrified me before the Race. Not so now. Throughout my time here, God has given me a new perspective on worship. He has made it so much more personal. I don’t pay attention to anything else besides Jesus when I worship. It’s just me, standing before his throne.
And that’s it.
Peace out,
Elijah
