Happy July!! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the grass is green! I hope y’all are having a great summer so far! I spent some time at my Grandma’s lake house with the family for the Fourth of July, and now I am in Indiana for a few days, then traveling to Florida with some of my squad members that will be going on the race with me! We are traveling to Florida to meet more of our squad in person!
I cannot express how excited I am for this journey we are embarking! And the journey we are taking to trust in the Lord to bring us to our launch date!
Trust is something that has been on my heart a lot lately! It is the season I am in with my relationship with my Heavenly Father. I wanted to take some time to share with you all, my heart on this topic.
Trust is something that I have always struggled with. I have always struggled when it came to trusting people. Which led to me not understanding what it meant to trust God. I thought that I trusted God, but when times got tough I leaned on my own strength, rather than trusting that God would get me through it.
I recently had this epiphany that I couldn’t trust God in the same way that I trust people. Humans are sinful, we will do wrong whether intentionally or not. BUT my God?? He is so good! He is faithful! He is trustworthy beyond measures! When you trust the Lord you have to do it unconditionally and unwavering! Life is going to throw you curveballs and satan will do anything he can to make you believe God did it to you. So when satan pops in your head with things that are not of the Lord, I challenge you to TRUST God unconditionally and unwavering!
