My time in Guatemala is flying by… the old espanol is
still slow but coming along! I have been here exactly one month now and its not
always easy, but God is teaching me a lot. Each day looks quite
different, so I thought I would do a snapshot blog from today’s activities.
We headed out to do ministry on one of the local ‘chicken buses’ as they are
affectionately known…got off in the wrong location, walked for a while to the
next pueblo, piled onto each other’s laps in a tuk-tuk, and arrived at a local
children’s outreach. We were just in time to help serve food, teach English, paint
a few walls, and love on some adorable kids before returning home. It is the
rainy season here now but today we were blessed with sunny weather, Guatemala
is really a beautiful country! But that’s enough from me, see for yourself…
