Well, it’s official— This is my year of elevens. As you probably know, tomorrow is 11/11/11. At 11:11 am my team and I will be celebrating
our final day of ministry on the World Race! Can you believe it? [I am not ready to even think about that yet…I am sure it will just feel like any other day and hit me later]. It will be
the 11th day in the 11th month and my 11th country on the World Race 2011. It
will also be exactly 11 days until I arrive home and sleep in my own bed. But
who’s counting, right?

A friend of mine told me that eleven is the number of transition…so I think that applies quite well to this year, which was a constant state of adaption and new experiences. But as we know, every season must end and this chapter in my life is quickly coming to a close. Here is a verse the Lord gave me for my team:
“For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh”. -Ezekiel 36:24-26
I am looking forward to what God has for me next and excited to share about my experiences this year– as well as hear all that God has done in you these past 11 months! For those of you in the New England area, I will be sharing at First Assembly of God church in Worcester on Sunday morning, November 27 (10:30 am). See you soon!
