We have four teams here in Manila working with Kids International Ministries and two teams on another Island in the southern Philippines. I can see now how people just fall in love with a place and dedicate their lives to working in that community and country. The longs are the family who started Kids International Ministry and seriously they just love their whole community here and the people just love them. They have dedicated their live to grow this community and better the lives of the people living in it. This ministry center is a picture of what it looks like to love people unconditionally.
The theme of this month is options. There's basically everything we could want to get involved in. The longs are great about getting us plugged into where we wanna work and with what we are good at and have a heart for.
I wanted to make a blog post where I could share more about the actual place and sights and show the actual faces of the children that I have become obsessed with. The names are changed but I want you all to know these faces like I do.
The children:
SOL: Age 10. This kid is awesome, and has been teaching me how to say things in the Filippino language. When u see him you will get asked 1,000 times “What are you doing?” , “Where are you going?”

THE BEAN: The bean gives the absolute best hugs in the world; everyone should experience a Bean squeeze.
ROCKY: Basically is the strongest kid. He’s been helping us with digging out an area of land that homes are being built on. I can’t lift up most of the dirt buckets but he definitely can.
JENNIFER: Yep she might be the cutest! She does wear a Lakers Jersey most days which I am not to happy about. 😉
MIRACLE
Doesn’t like playing games but loves drawing with sticks pictures in the dirt. SERIOUSLY an amazing stick dirt artist!
