Hey there! I'm Elaina DeStefano and I recenty graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Psychology and two minors in intercultural studies and sociology. I am so excited for the world race and am so ready to be able to participate in serving people in such an amazing way. This trip is going to take me out of my comfort zone in so many ways but that seems to be exactly what I am looking forward to. I love the quote by Francis Chan that says "But God doesn't call us to be comfortable. He calls us to trust Him so completely that we are unafraid to put ourselves in situations where we will be in trouble if He doesn't come through". This is something I am striving towards. I love traveling and seeing new places…seriously going anywhere new excites me! I will even take the long way places just to see new things. I have been able to travel to Uganda, Bolivia and the Dominican republic before wihch I would say have all shaped my passion for the world. I would call myself an adventurous person and I am extremely blessed to have great friends and family that have grown with me through good and difficult times. I know that the wolrd race i exactly what I should be doing and I'm so thankful for everyone involved in the whole process.
