If Jesus came to your street
Would you recognize Him?
Are you looking for sandals and a white robe?
What if He wears a purple sweater
Long white stockings
Brown curls and a pony tail?
If His hands are dirty
His mouth is sticky
Lollipop in hand
Would you know Him still?
You called me Auntie
Tho I don’t understand
Who needs words?
Words would fail my want of expression
Your smile is sufficient
Speaking enough
You get me
I get you
Joy needs no interpretation
Love needs no words
It’s in the giving and receiving
Operating out of the abundance
That unlimited Source
That is so freely ours
No moment I lack
Means of connection
Reaching out my hand to touch
Opening my arms to embrace
Always there’s someone to receive
I’ve more than enough to give
For I’ve been given everything.

Last week I met little Rosa. She stole my heart. We could not hold any conversation for the language barrier (which is so common here!). We loved each other immediately and developed our own means of communication. She called me Auntie, but I never knew it till later.
There’s so many “little Rosas” out there. Will you take a moment to love on one today?
