The close of year 2016 was a time of many doors closing in my life. I was in the hallway for but a moment till God opened other doors. Doorways leading beyond horizons…
I am currently living in Kona, Hawaii, teaching foundation school at the University of the Nations, YWAM base. After 3 months, I’ll be returning home to Elizabethville for a few months before I launch the world race trip in October. God, by creative design such as only He can, spoke to me about the world race through dreams, prophecy, nature, circumstances and two amazing people, Erika and Joy. When God speaks it and we believe it, that settles it. In February 2017 I applied, actually knowing very little about what the trip actually consists of and is like. Some research later, (and talks with Erika!!), and I am “wowed” at the adventure I’m about to embark. Much of what I learned though, I did not exactly like. But I like that I don’t like it:) God is calling me out of my comfortable, independent lifestyle into a new season. My so called comforts may be at stake, but He is my Comforter. God wants to disqualify every one of my self-constructed limits.
I am so grateful first to my Heavenly Father for His grace and faithfulness; and also to all of you, my family and friends supporting me! The greatest and most powerful support you can lend is by prayer! I covet your prayers now as I prepare emotionally and physically for the upcoming trip, and of course throughout the 11 months of trotting the globe. Pray for effective ministry for the glory of God!
