I have been saved now for a little over a year. In this year i have only herd 100's of the healing miricles, never seen one. It is like they were only stories to me. I would say i belived Jesus could heal people, and raise them from the dead. When I actaully sat down and thought about it though, my faith was little because i had never seen it.
Well over training camp, i had a guy on my squad that WAS 50% deaf in both ears, and it was progressive. After a mens day with all the squads i herd the Lord tell me to lay hands on my brother. I staright up told the Lord" no way!!! not happening! Lord this man has been deaf since 1st grade" Later that night the Lord told me to lay hands on his ears again. Our converstaion looked the same. "Lord its not happening,what if hs ears dont get healed, what if people think im crazy" he then spoke to me… "it's not about you Eddie". i was still not ready. i went to bed in disobediance. I woke up the next morning and it was all that was on my mind. so i prayed about it and went in front of all three squads and asked them to join me in prayer and laying hands on Jake's ears. everyone joined, nothing happened. My pride was hurt..later that night at training camp we were having a guy talk about healing, the worship team started playing music, we started laying hands again. Thanking God for healing, not asking, after about 45- minutes to hour later (not sure exact time) Jake yelled "i can hear" the Lord removed what ever was in his ears and opned them to hear! The crazy stories i have herd about over the past year were now a reality. Made me check how small my faith was. God is THE healer, redeemer, lover, and Father. Amazing God i worship and praise.
