As you know from my previous blog, The “Longest Travel Day Yet!” we arrived in Malaysia on Monday. Once we arrived in Kuala Lumpur we found that we weren’t going to be able to catch a bus until the following morning. We found a hostel, dropped our packs off and went exploring.
Christopher has a knack for finding and doing awesome things in every country we go to. He suggested to the team that we find the PETRONAS towers. They are the largest twin towers in the World! We arrived just before it got dark and ventured through the mall that’s inside the towers. It’s a high-class area with stores like Louis Vuitton, Coach, Tiffany Co, and many others. We headed outside as it started to get dark to see the towers in all their magnificent glory.

As I sat on the steps below the fountains in the picture above, I was overcome with the feeling that God is so huge. I mean there are these massive buildings in front of me, all 1,483 feet of them, and I can’t even comprehend how big they are. I mean I can’t intellectually wrap my brain around how big they are and I can see them with my own eyes. I thought about the Earth and the seas and God. I can’t even see those things within my vision and I can’t comprehend how big they are. Then to think that God created the Earth and the seas and the technology for the PETRONAS towers to be built boggles my mind even more. God is SO big and incomprehensible and awesome (in the truest sense of the word).
WOW!

Our team loved the towers. They are truly beautiful and wonderful buildings. We had a great night sleep in our cold, small, air-conditioned closets at the hostel. We headed for the bus and we made it to our ministry site safely. We’re working at a center, teaching English and good character. We aren’t allowed to open spread the name of Jesus due to the laws here.
