We just left our secret little town to head to debrief.  It was bittersweet saying goodbye.  This month definitely looked a lot different than our previous months have.  We had long, tough hours doing things we didn’t particularly enjoy as well as living off-site.  Couple that with not being able to worship and pray and evangelize opening and you have an off-kilter Team TUMBLER.

Due to the Chinese New Year, we didn’t get to know our contacts, Mr. and Mrs. Kumar, quite as well as we would’ve liked.  Last night they asked if we could come to the center so they could say their goodbyes.  We showed up and they had a giant pitcher of Teh (Malaysian version of Chai), Roti (similar to a flaky tortilla), and desert for us.  Mr. Kumar even spoke some life over us from Psalm 37.

I am thankful that this month is over.  I am thankful that we’re moving on to something new, but as always, it was hard to say goodbye.  After a month at each one of these places, we leave a little bit of our heart at each one.  Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Kumar for being wonderful hosts and bringing Kingdom the way that you do.  It was a pleasure serving alongside you this month!
