It’s been a fast two days. Today I leave for a leader retreat after being at our Uganda ministry for only one full day. I believe that this is going to be a great month with this ministry. Our pastor’s name is Joseph and he runs a ministry called Christ Ambassadors. They have a church that holds Sunday services, Bible studies, home groups, and door-to-door evangelism. CAM also runs a school where underprivileged children in the community can come and learn about Jesus.
We are staying at Pastor Joseph’s house with The Janes – a wonderful all-girls team. We have five rooms to ourselves that we can spread the 13 of us around in. Christopher and I have our own room and each have their own bed!
There are five or six people that live at the house – Joseph and his wife, Frieda, Peace, Agnes, and Edward. They are all wonderful and very hospitable and fun. I’m looking forward to getting to know them better over the next month.

Please pray that God blesses our ministry this month. Pray that He provides direction and motivation to work our tails off for Him. Pray that we use every moment of this month to love the people of Uganda and to love each of the 12 other people we’re living with. Pray that we’re open to Him continuing to change and grow us.
