We've been busy this month here at Hogar Miqueas. The dad and mom of the home, Jacob & Melody, work really hard to make sure the kids are healthy, learning in school, and being taught good morals. They both love all of these kids to death. The nannies, or tías, do a wonderful job ensuring that the children are clean, fed, and cared for. The children are all great and we've really gotten to spend a lot of time with them.
One thing that we've noticed as a team is that there is a lot of spiritual warfare taking place here. Satan knows that Jacob, Melody, and the tías here are raising up kids that are going to do work for the Kingdom of God and he's doing everything he can to stop it. There is a heavy feeling here – a feeling of lethargy, anger, lack of enthusiasm, lack of a desire to learn, and overall negative feelings. The kids pick up on these feelings from one another and they seem to amplify across all of them in minutes.
What's the solution? We know that the solutions is prayer and perseverance to change the way these kids think and act. Christopher has scheduled a 24-hour vigil filled with prayer, worship and fasting for this place, Jacob & Melody, the tías, and the children. Will you consider joining us in prayer? We plan to start tonight at 10pm CST and end tomorrow, Monday, at 10pm CST.

Jacob & Melody
They sometimes question if they are doing the right thing. Pray for affirmation. Pray for love to
overflow from them on to these kids. Pray for strength. Pray for rest in Him. Pray for wisdom.
Walker
Walker is the go-to guy around here. He is the head tutor for the children. Pray for wisdom in tutoring.
Pray for patience. Pray for health. Pray for the kids to respect him and what he's doing.
Alejandro
Pray for patience. Pray for love. Pray for the anger to leave him.
Alexa
Alexa is strong. She loves everyone here. She is compassionate. Pray for this to continue.
Pray for health. Pray that she can be a great example for all these kids.
Aminta
Pray for God to blow her life up. Pray for her identity to be found in Him. This girl has influence,
pray for her to use it to influence people in good.
Anderson
Please pray he would use his influence for good and would use his desire to instigate trouble to
instead instigate good. Also pray that he would find the attention he desperately seeks from the
Lord. Pray for a desire to learn.
Angel
He likes to have fun. He likes to be everyone's best friend. Pray that God will be his best friend.
Pray that he will be able to spread God's name to all his friends.

He's going to be heartbreaker, eh? Pray for kindness. Pray for obedience. Pray for respect.
Pray for him to use his influence over the other toddlers for Godly behavior.
Carmen
Carmen is full of joy. She is always smiling. Pray that her joy comes from the Lord. Pray that
the Lord continues to give her child-like joy that overflows on to everyone she's around.

Pray that this young one grows up to change the world for Jesus. Pray that she has God's favor.
Pray that she will be able to move mountains for His will.

She is a firecracker. Pray for courage. Pray for boldness. Pray for her to empowered to bring
people to Christ.

Pray that God reveals to Gerson that he loves him unlike an Earthly father ever could. Pray for
compassion. Pray for love.
Heidy
Pray for her to be a good role model for her two younger brothers. Another great English speaker.
Pray for a continued desire to learn. Pray for God to empower her to use her English to change the World.

Pray for growth – physically and spirtually. Pray for strength. Pray for healing from anger. Pray for
encouragement. Pray for focus.

Pray for him to be a good example for the other toddlers. Pray for him to love others well.

Despite his struggles, he loves life. Pray for healing for his eyes. Pray for strength. Pray for
growth from being neglected as a child.
Juan Miqueas
Pray for his joy to pour out on the toddlers. Pray for the Lord to give him wisdom. Pray for his
compassion to never cease.
Karen
Pray for healing from neglect. Pray for speech. Pray for the ability to learn. Pray for her joy and love
to spill out on the rest of these kids.

Pray for her to grow in to an outstanding woman of God. Pray for her to love the Lord with all
her heart. Pray for the love of Jesus to spread to the nations from her lips.

She is the second "mom" of the house. She runs the place. Pray for her to be the next global leader.
Pray that she not only speaks to Honduras, but to the entire World about God's love.

He is a "little man". He talks gibberish (or maybe it's toddler Spanish) and then gets frustrated
that we can't understand. Pray for wisdom. Pray that he grows to be a "big man".
Nathan
Pray that this little guy stops being so mischievous. Pray that God enables him to be a positive
light in this home. Pray for his joy to continue as he grows older.
Nerbely
She's mischievous too. When you get her and Nathan in the same room, trouble happens. Pray
for her and Nathan to be mischievous together for Jesus.
Olvin
Pray for this little one to stay healthy. Pray for strength as he learns to walk. Pray for him to easily be
able to learn Spanish and English. Pray for him to love the Lord as he grows up.
Pedro
He is Juan Jose's twin brother. Pray for the love in this place to give him a representation of the
Love of his Heavenly Father. Pray for healing of his blindness. Pray for strength as he learns to walk.
Sandy
Pray for her identity to be in Jesus. Pray for her to be happy. Pray for her teeth and for Him to take
away all the pain in her mouth. Pray for happiness.
Victor
He's smart. Pray that he'll put his intelligence to good use. Pray that he will apply himself in school.
Pray that he will encourage the others to love knowledge.

She is awesome. She loves cuddling. Pray that her love and affection rubs off on the other
toddlers. Pray for God to do great things in her.

of Him and His Word for the glory of the Kingdom.
