No matter where you are, or where you turn, you can always see in some shape or form that our world is broken. There is so much hurt and pain, and heartache. Everyone at some point in their lives decides to fill themselves with something to overcome the hurt, the stress, the pain. For some, its a relationship. For some, its alcohol, or drugs, or partying. It can even be doing good things and serving. But at some point, you realize, that those things that you do to fill yourself with, or distract you from the brokenness, does not really do much and at times leaves you stuck in a constant state of brokenness.

But, what if I told you that the state the world is now and its brokenness was not the way that God envisioned the world to be. See originally when the world was created, everything was good. There was no hurt or pain or heartache, and all was as it should be. We were also in a right relationship with God. But you see, this thing called sin entered the world and messed everything up. Sin is anything that goes against God and what he desires to be, and that sin separated us form God and broke our relationship with God. Sin messed up everything, which is why our world is so broken and there is pain and hurt.

But even in the midst of that, God had a plan to restore the world and make it right again, and restore humankind and its relationship with him. That plan, was Jesus who is God in the form of man, who came to this world to save it and not condemn it. He came and lived the life we could not, and he took the punishment we deserved and died on the cross to save us form what we truly deserve, and he rose 3 days later to show his Authority and victory over all.

If we, who are in this broken world would trust him (believe in him), and turn to him in repentance (turn from the things against him) and make him Lord and savior of our lives, we would be brought back into right relationship with God and be with him for ALL eternity in the world that he originally envisioned that does not have heartbreak and sorrow. Don’t you want that? I know I do

So I ask you, where you at though??? are you still living your life broken trying to fill yourself with false things and continuing to remain broken? or are you in right relationship with God and living life from him through Christ in this broken world? If you find yourself still in the broken cycle of life and trying to fill it yourself, what is it keeping you from trusting God and turning to Jesus? please reach out and voice where you are, this is a safe place to share what is going on as I am truly wanting to know and talk with you.

IF you find yourself in relation with Jesus and living from him, and the world he has to come, then know that you right now, are commissioned with a mandate and a command to go back into this broken world and make disciples of all nations and baptize them in the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey all that Jesus commands. if you have questions on what that looks like, or how that is done, please reach out and ask, I would love to share the answer to those questions, it does not even have to be me, it can be somebody in your faith community, just reach out.

Praying for those of you in either position.

sincerely,

Dylan
