Picture this: Hot days and cool nights, lots of laughter, sweating in places you never thought sweat could even exist, Amazing encounters with the Lord and his truth, and no sign of Demi Lovato or the Jonas brothers.

Y’all training camp was one of the best things I have been able to experience. The way that the Lord worked in and moved into so many lives was unbelievable. But I am getting ahead of myself, so lets start at the beginning.

Only God can take about 150 people who are complete strangers and unite them all together for his purposes. The ways in which we bonded, especially with my squad was amazing. In ten days God showed me himself and how he viewed me. He was my strength when i felt like i had no strength. He was my assurance when I began to question and doubt. throughout my time at camp this is what the Lord spoke to me about personally:

Dylan, you are my son, not my slave

Dylan I Love you,

Dylan you were made for such a time as this

Dylan, I am not disappointed in you

That was just in the worship sessions!! God spoke so much to me in that sacred time, even in the midst of my fears and doubts and worries that I would do it all over again.

What was even more spectacular about this was that God led me to do things I never would have thought I would ever do. The guys all went and climb a mountain for about 13.3 miles. Never did I ever expect to actually accomplish something like that, and let me tell you, It was eye opening and healing. the Lord really showed me, as I was climbing and how tired and hard it was, that It will be worth it in the end, and that sometimes we need to go through those challenges and struggles for growth, and that to get where God needs us to be to encounter him, involves struggle. Being on top of that mountain and looking out at God’s creation was magnificent, and beautiful. All I could think about was the song Shoulders by for King and Country.

I also got to dance, which is funny because I did not expect that at all, and I felt as though God told me before hand that that would happen!!

I also got to eat Crickets, Yes you read that correctly, and they taste like burnt popcorn, so as you can imagine, I do not eat popcorn anymore. I understood more about living as community in Jesus, and true worship and crying out to the Lord. The last main thing, that I wanted to share in this blog is this:

YOU CAN HEAR THE VOICE OF THE LORD!!! even after the Lord gave his people the Law and scriptures, he still spoke to them. This is how you can know the Lord is speaking;

1. Jesus says you as the sheep can hear the shepherds voice. If what you believe is the Lord speaking to you, it will be in accordance to scripture.

2. Other believers can testify to what it is that you believe the Lord has spoken to you about.

3. It encourages and uplifts the Name of Jesus

4. It brings life and not death.

5. it will come to pass or will happen.

Friends there are so many other things that happened at camp but to write them all down would be at least 5 pages long, but these were the main things Jesus spoke to me about.

I just want to say thank you for following along and seeing what all God is doing in my life. I am grateful for you all. If you would though, I am in need of you help. I have 11 days to raise 3600$ to meet my next deadline of 10,000$ If you feel led to help support in this way, just click the orange donate button. You can also share because you never know, someone you know may be being led by the Lord to help build his kingdom in this way.

I am so excited to see how God continues to transform me and show himself on this race. I also cannot wait to tell you all about it!!!
