It is time to give credit where credit is due. I have been extremely blessed by all of you so far! You all have been so generous with me through your prayer and support of my World Race experience. I have to be honest, I hate asking anyone for anything, especially money. I know the value of hard work, and I know how hard you all have worked for everything you have. It feels foreign and almost wrong to simply ask for the money I am raising. However, God has said in Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” I know that this fundraising experience is another way God will glorify Himself, as He already has. I hope that all of you will consider being a part of that experience and help fund me towards my goal of spreading the gospel and love of Christ to the unreached in Cote d’ Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Ghana, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize.
I know and trust that God will continue to provide for me, and I am asking that all of you continue to support me through prayer and if you feel led, monetarily. Even though I have made a huge dent in what I need to raise, I still have a long way to go. Although it feels great to be about a quarter of the way done and I feel I can breathe a little easier, the three quarters that are still ahead scare me. I have never been a fan of the unknown or situations beyond my control. These $13,000 that I still need to raise seem somehow unobtainable. This is a time where I need to exercise trust in the Lord and I know He will show His power and love through this situation. As it says in 2 Samuel 7:28, “O Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your words are trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.”
I cannot wait to see how God will work over the next several months and raise the remaining money I need. I would like to thank all of you who have supported me monetarily thus far. I have come a long way in my fundraising due to your contributions and I am so thankful that God has placed you in my life and that you have chosen to give freely of what God has given to you. The Lord has truly provided for me through you! I am so grateful for all of you and I know the Lord will not let your generosity go unnoticed. As Jesus says in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured unto you.” Many of you have already lived out the call in 2 Corinthians 9:7 by, “giving cheerfully and without reluctance.” I know there is much more to come!
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope that you know you can reach out to me through email or a phone call at any time! My email address is [email protected], and my phone number is (678)773-6670. I am so excited to see God at work in the coming months and how you will be a part of that experience!
