2/17/2012 UPDATE!!! BEA IS FULLY FUNDED!!! Thank yall for the help, prayers, and support! Yall rock!
I hope this blog finds everybody doing well back in the states… It won’t be but a few more months and i’ll be back home with y’all… Crazy to think about, but its true!
March 1st is approaching VERY fast and that means something big for our squad… That marks the final deadline for our fund raising! Its been an incredible year to see how the Lord has provided for me in so many ways I never would have imagined. I remember when I began this journey at the beginning of February last year, thinking to myself, “I have NO IDEA how I will raise $14,800 for this trip!!!!!” But, the Lord has been so faithful and has provided more than I could ever imagine. I am forever grateful and humbled at His provision.
With the deadline just around the corner, our leaders have appointed people to “head up” the fundraising side of things for our squad. They have paired us each up with folks who still need a lot of help to reach their deadline on funding… Right now, out of a squad of 40 people, there are 18 people who are still not fully funded… One of those people being my good friend… Bea Ibarra.

Let me tell you a little bit about my friend, Bea. She is amazing! I was blessed because before training camp, Bea and 4 others actually came and spent some time in Franklin hanging out with me. She is an incredible godly woman and has a heart to serve all whom she comes in contact with. She has been a HUGE support and encouragement for me through this World Race and I am blessed to call her friend. Bea lives in Los Angeles, California, but is originally from El Salvador. I think it’s such a privilege to get to go around the world with her and minister to the nations! I am excited about the opportunity to serve with her in El Salvador for month 10 of us race!
In order for that to happen… We need to help her reach her support goal of $14,800 for the race. She is currently $1,000 away from being fully funded and just has around 3 weeks to fill her support account. Will you please consider helping support her financially and most of all, prayerfully to keep her on the field? It would mean so much to her to know that y’all are standing behind her through this process.
If you are interested in helping support her, please check out her blog at anaibarra.theworldrace.org
You can also look her up on Facebook. Send her a message if you would like… I know it would mean the world to her. Also, if you are interested and would like to let me know, just shoot me a quick message or email.
Thanks for taking time to read this and thank you for considering supporting Bea. It means a lot to me as well. She is such a great woman and has touched so many lives. I would be heartbroken to see her go home this far into the race.
Love y’all!
