I hope this finds you having a great Monday so far! I know I am. A very restful one at that as I’m on the “getting better side” of having a sever sinus infection and slight bronchitis! No bueno!

(How I've been feeling)

Just wanted to give you a quick update on what’s going on as of late.

As most of you know, we were scheduled to head to Cuba in December for a vision trip with Church-to-Church, but it got knocked back to February.

Now, due to not having enough people to participate in the Cuba trip, it has now been bumped back to March sometime (if there are enough participants sign up to make the trip).

Church-to-Church exists to partner American church with International churches to create long-term relationships. This is to eliminate the typical “one time” trip, in hopes of making the relationships more solid and more in-depth.

I love the concept of it because, The Gospel without relationships isn’t The Gospel anymore, but rather it becomes a “quick fix”, if you will.

Side note: If your church is interested in potentially partnering with Church-to-Church, please let me know! We’d love to have you! We have LOTS of partnerships waiting for folks to partner with!

Anyways, the reason I wanted to write this is to let you know I’ve been transferred to a different trip. As of now, I’ll not be going to Cuba, but rather Haiti!

I’m super excited about the opportunity to take this trip, because this will be my first “on the ground” experience with Church-to-Church. I’ve seen what happens in the office, but now I’ll get to join a church from New Hampshire as they travel to Haiti, February 18th-28th!

I’ll be posting a blog to tell you about the trip, but I just ask for your prayers as we prepare to make this journey. Pray that God would go before us and begin to move in the hearts of the Americans taking the trip, and also the Internationals we will be working with.

God has been incredibly good to me and has already provided all but about $75 necessary for the trip! For that, I’m thankful! It’s also just that much more confirmation for me that this is where I’m suppose to be headed!

Anyways, I just wanted to give a quick update as to what’s going on. Other than that, I’m still serving BBQ and really loving it! God has been doing incredible things there, too, in the lives of the folks we get to work along side! Keep praying for those of us who work there, as I believe God has us there to help change the atmosphere and bring The Good News to those we not only serve, but work along side.

I love each of you and appreciate your continued love and support! Please don’t hesitate to let me know how I can be praying for you!

Love y’all.
