I can honestly say that yesterday was the toughest day of my life so far. I never realized how tough it could be to say goodbye for 11 months to my family and friends. I know that its all part of this journey though that God is taking me on. Through the tears, the hurt, the fears, the pain, the unknown, etc… I know that God has huge plans and something so much bigger in store than any of us could ever imagine!
So, right now I find myself sitting with 43 other folks from all walks of life, in a church in Gainesville, GA, waiting for Friday to get here to fly out to our first country. This doesn't even feel like its actually happening. Leaving all I have ever known behind for the next year. Its a very freeing feeling in a lot of ways. I cannot wait for the Lord to grow me and stretch me in so many areas.
I ask for yalls continued prayers and support as I embark on this 11 month journey. Its gonna be incredible, and I pray that this blog would speak to each of you in huge ways and allow you to get a glimpse of what the Lord is doing in my life, those that I serve along side, and those that we minister too.
Real quick, I want to thank everyone who has supported me financially to help get me here! Just an update, I currently have a little under $12,000 in my account. I need $14,800 to be fully funded for the race! If you would like to help me get all my money in by donating, that would be amazing and I would appreciate it so much! You can donate by clicking on the "support me" section of my page. This is really happening! Thank you again for making this possible.
Love yall.
