As y’all know, for the past 3 months I have been traveling as a squad of 44 people to each country, but once we arrive in country, our squad is split into 7 teams and each team is paired into different ministries. The first month, my team (Team Rescued Identity) worked with “Food for the Hungry” in the Philippines. We worked alone that month.
Month 2, we were paired with one other team, and served at “Eagles Wings” in China.
Last month, we were grouped with 4 teams and all of us lived in one hostel in South Africa and worked in a surfing and soccer ministry.
At the end of last month, it was time for our two squad leaders, Joshua and Megan, to start stepping down and raise up two new leaders to take their places and finish leading our squad the remaining 8 months of the World Race. So, Joshua and Megan chose the 2 new leaders, Nick and Christin to take over their positions and serve the squad as we travel sharing the Gospel. Their ministry is going to look a lot different now, as they will be more focused on the well being of the squad and helping to pour into us as we serve in the different ministries.
Along with those changes, there needed to be 2 new team leaders to take Nick and Christins spots, and 1 previous team leader would step down. Because of all the changes and rearrangements of the teams and squads, that called for… TEAM CHANGES!
Something that not many people look forward too, but its bound to happen at some point or another on the World Race. I say all of that other stuff to say this, I am no longer on “Team Rescued Identity” because of the changes, but now I am on “Team PUSH.” I talked a lot about my other team members, and I will still see them, work with them, travel with them, and have awesome bonds and relationships with these people, but as for working specifically in the ministries we are placed in, I have been placed with new people! So without further to do… I present to you…
TEAM PUSH!
