Can you believe it’s
already the end of March? These past three months have been a
whirlwind of activities, classes, teaching, and homework for us and
we have truly enjoyed every minute of it. We have grown tremendously
in the Lord while we have been at G42, working hard, constantly in prayer,
continuously seeking out answers, but above all else, being quiet
before Him and allowing ourselves to be loved and cherished by God.
It’s harder than you think to be quiet for ten or twenty minutes and
just think about how much God desperately loves you and wants you to
know Him, but it is so worth it.
These last three months,
we have been in class learning about the ins and outs of non profit
organizations and for profit businesses, as well as biblical teaching
from preachers and teachers from around the world. We have done
everything from grant writing, business plans, team building, and
vision projects to learning more about who God is and what the Bible
says about our relationship with Him. The amazing thing is is that
no matter the teacher or the subject, practical and spiritual matters
go hand in hand. Goals are not set and budgets are not mapped out
without asking God first to be with us in every decision that is
made. That’s how life should be.
Our life’s decisions and every day affairs, no matter how huge or
mundane and boring they may seem, can always be impacted by inviting
Jesus to walk with us through all of it.
classroom will be finished, and we will be off to the UK to visit one
of our mentors, George Ridley. George has spent his life church-planting and preaching all over the UK. This has been his life’s
work until he began a non profit organization called Lightforce
International. He and his team have projects going on in the UK,
Albania (kids’ summer camp), India (church planting), and Uganda
(self-sustaining village), all meeting different needs for the people
in each specific area. We will spend five days at his church in
Milton Keynes, working with Lightforce International and seeing what
the daily operations look like for a successful non profit
organization. It sounds like it will be a busy and productive week!

As we near the end of our first term we
have been reflecting on the past three months and talking about all
the Lord has done in us so far. We have both grown in areas of our
lives that continues to solidify the foundation of who Christ is to
us every single day. I can speak for both of us and say that our
love for Christ has never been stronger and our desire to serve Him
in everything we say and do has been confirmed.
and I have watched God provide for our financial needs as we continue
to work towards doing exactly what He has called us to do. We are
halfway through our school and God has financially provided
graciously for us through the end of April. We are still needing to
raise $4,000 for the rest of our tuition and living expenses. This
includes all food, lodging, books, and tuition for the last two
months. If you would like to donate or support us financially, here
is the link to a previous blog that will help you do just that:
us in finances, but more importantly in prayer. Please pray that we
would continue to grow and learn everything that God has for us in
the second term, and we would honestly love to return the favor by
praying for specific needs you have, so shoot us an email and keep us
updated! We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our
hearts!
