I have officially fallen in love with Honduras. There is
something very unique about the people here and the ministry we’re working for.
The ministry is called Zion’s Gate and is ran by a man who is a pure testament
of giving it all up for the cause of Christ, Tony. He started this ministry
five years ago when G-d gave him a godly brokenness for the people of Honduras
and more specifically the young people of Los Pinos. Barely speaking Spanish,
he started taking his car to the downtown streets of Tegucigulpa and simply
loved on people. By his obedience to serve, his actions portrayed a walking
example of Jesus. After five years, he has rescued six kids off of the streets
and has opened up his land to any that want to come. His story is truly a testament
to seeking out the lost and searching for the 1 vs. the 99.

This month he is giving us the opportunity to help rebuild a
home for one of the young men of Los Pinos, work with the homeless, teach
English in schools, and work with the local churches to minister to the young
people. There has also been a door opened to work with a government program
called Empha. This program goes through some of the worst neighborhoods in
Tegucigulpa, targeting young people who are dangerous and create havoc. Against
their will, the program takes the individuals to a facility to help
rehabilitate them from drugs and alcohol and their past. It’s a very difficult
ministry and we’ll be working with very hard, rebellious kids. Please pray theL-rd will soften their hearts and that G-d would give them a desire to change
and turn from their old lifestyles so they don’t return the way they came in.

 I am beyond
excited to see what G-d is going to do in this nation, especially through this
ministry, Zion’s Gate. I would encourage you to check out Zion’s Gate online
and support this ministry because they are changing young peoples lives,
sharing Jesus, and literally being His hands and feet.
