The secrets that fall so far beneath the surface that have entrapped and even ensnared people by the lies of defeat, regret, ransom, and shame.

We allow these "things" to hold us in bondage regardless if it was our own doing or an offense taken against us. We suppress these mistakes or faults made and hold them in the shadows of our worth.

We establish our worth based upon the extent of our past.

May I ask, what is the cost of your vulnerability?

What have you declared as your worth?

This last week we talked about being utterly exposed from the secrets we've been held captive too. We shared the liberation one can receive once they bring that ugly, little devastation to the light. Now it's time for face value, to look deep into the shadows of our pasts, into the eyes of the things that have far too long haunted our core. The stage was now open for anyone brave enough to share with 60 men and women from all different backgrounds, ethnicities, and stories.

One by one people begin to break the silence, exposing their shame. Stories begin to flood out of rape, molestation, addiction, pornography, broken homes, abuse of every form, harsh relationships with mothers or fathers, and the list goes on. Tears of failure, questioning, and shame flooded the room and light began to invade.

There is nothing quite like the light of Jesus – the calming of His sweet embrace that reminds you, you are not alone, you are not forgotten, and you are not abandoned. Jesus came to give us life to the fullest and to no longer be enslaved to our past. Jesus Christ made a way where we can walk in freedom in the love of the Abba, Father, the giver of life Himself.

G-d wants to FREE each and everyone of us from the lies that say, "You are an orphan. You are abandoned. You are alone. You do not belong. You have been rejected. You are unworthy. You don't deserve it."

He says, "You ARE my beloved Son/Daughter in whom I chose, who I have called by name to be with Me. Who I say is worthy of my affection and love. You are the reason I came."

Far too long have we submitted ourselves under the lies of fear. We must EXPOSE the darkness, the secrets that have held us prisoners so that we are selves may be set free.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed."
[James 5:16]

If you desire freedom, healing, and restoration, it's time to take the pressure that has weighed you down and bring it to the light. Ask the Father of all light and love to give you the strength and courage to expose the secrets so that He may bring you freedom and wholeness.

He is ready to set YOU free!
