Friends, i am in need of a huge miracle! i have now been on The World Race for 3 months and have been stretched, refined, and empowered to be more of the woman of G-d, He is calling me to be. My desire is to obviously continue on the race and finish my 11 months with my team and you can help me accomplish this.
I currently have my next financial deadline on April 1st and still need $2800 to allow me to stay on the world race and not be sent home. Absolutely anything can help! $5, $10, $15 or more.
How can you give financially?
There are various ways!
- You can choose to donate monthly- you can choose the amount and when you would like the donations to start and end…
- You can choose to donate a one-time gift online.
- You can write a check and send it to Adventures in Missions for one time and monthly donations. Please make checks payable to Adventures In Missions and send to Adventures In Missions, PO Box 534470, Atlanta, GA,30353-4470. (Just make sure that my name is on the memo line so that they know where the funds are supposed to go.)

11 things i have learned so far on the world race:
1. G-d can change anyone regardless of how they were raised, where they come from, or what they are going through. I have met people in gangs that were wanted dead 6 months previous and now are looked up to in their neighborhoods. People addicted to drugs completely set free, alcoholics completely released, and people depressed and hopeless that have met Jesus restored with purpose & vision for their life. G-d doesn’t see your past or even sometimes your present, but your future and who HE’S CALLED you to be.
2. Quiet time or “alone time” is almost impossible in community living, but hey you always have someone to talk too. :]
3. Trials, temptations, and tribulations, though from the Enemy, are allowed by God for our own benefit to bring our relationship closer to God through our perserverance (James 1: 2-4). Start getting excited whenever the 3T’s come because you know that God is desiring to teach you something that will bring you closer to Him!
4. Community living sometimes means co-ed bathrooms… If you’re looking for good conversations, sitting on the toilet in the stall over from the opposite sex always makes things more interesting!
5. G-d can use anyone to teach you something. They can be older, younger, childish, or intelligent; everyone has something to offer. I have learned to not discount anyone and remember G-d is not impartial, He works through everything.
6. It is ALWAYS important to RE-clarify what someone is saying in a different language. Especially when there giving you directions. People in other countries tend to be more polite and just give directions even if they have no idea what your talking about, so clarify and then re-clarify, haha.
7. Giving your life to G-d is a daily and sometimes minute by minute exercise. Living for G-d is not comfortable. It should stretch and refine you and make you more like Jesus (John 3:30).
8. i’ve realized it’s the little things in life like hot water, a toilet seat you can sit on, and running water. And if your lucky an ice cream shop you can buy a double scoop for a dollar! 😀
9. A lot of times it’s better to keep your mouth closed and just listen. “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger…” (James 1:19)
10. Everything you need to learn about living with your future spouse can be learned through sharing a co-ed bathroom.
11. G-d is good all the time.
